AFACS, started in 1971, is situated at Judges Field, Guwahati, in Assam. The center aims to foster the studies in the field of art, culture and crafts of Assam and neighbouring states. The society revives traditional art and craft techniques and brings out courses on art and related fields. Assam Fine Arts and Crafts Society offers vocational training for students. The center offers various supports for higher studies in art and crafts. Exhibition, symposia and camps are organized. Besides, the society works as a library-cum-documentation center. Read More
